Becoming An Orthopedic Surgeon, Uk Medical School Question!!?

Medical school question!!? - becoming an orthopedic surgeon, uk

OK, so I 15, to the best "high school" in Britain and wanted to have a doctor of some sort, since I have a baby!
Recently, I was taken seriously, what I as a physician, and we are known for a while I want to go on the side of the operation itself. I looked for things on the internet and ask, and to a conclusion that I most want to come to an orthopedic surgeon. if it is not to be the case, then I do not have a transplant surgeon, or would be finite, in neurosurgery.
Problem, we discovered the "Match Day"?
say revealed in a letter to all medical students that receive their stay programs, which were incorporated. I do not wantnot choose to be in a position to an orthopedist?
There is no question design competition for places such as surgeon-specific, there will be no problem.

Thank you very much

First, it is a long answer. And secondly, it's great that you are 15 and have thought about medical school. They have too much in school and do a pre-med major, and have a GPA of 3.5 or better to help you in medical school to come.

But directly to your question ... (Jumps everything I added in brackets):

Access to programs of medical education, such as the residences of the competition is a process, as "the Party". Medical students usually begin the application process at the beginning of the year (usually) the fourth and last in medical school. After the application of programs, applications, and offers are checked rather than the candidate selected for interviews from October to February. After the interview is over, the student must submit a "ladder" for a central matching service (currently equivalent to the National Program of stay, abbreviated NRMP) in February.

Similarly, resident programs submit a list of their preferred candidates in order of importance for this service. The process is blind, so that neither applicant nor program can be found in the list. Appreciation program can be found here, and in real time based on the rankings of the candidates submitted anonymously built. [It seems that the option of following the program, a combination of your choice and preferences, and the school / party for you.]

The lists of the two parts by an NRMP computer, which in theory () creates a perfect game of the inhabitants progr combinedams using an algorithm. In the third Thursday in March each year ( "Match Day"), these results have been announced in Match Day ceremonies in 155 schools in the United States in the care of the country. Entering the game system, applicants are contractually required to pass the residency program of the institution in which they grouped. The same goes for programs, but are required to pay the applicants who meet them.

...

Students may be accompanied by programs "on their list of rank, especially in the areas of competition, such as radiology, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, Radio - oncology and urology.

H Sheera answer is correct, however, this process occurs in the United States. I do not know what is the procedure in the United Kingdom. It's probably something else.
